I am a fourth-grade economics student and a candidate for being a marketing professional who wants to work for cool apps and websites.
My main goal is to become a so-called “T-shaped” marketer in the long-term. Even though I have marketing-oriented internship experiences, I believe that I am still at the beginning of a marathon. There is a quote I admire a lot from the famous psychologist David Dunning:
“The first rule of the Dunning-Kruger club is you don’t know you’re a member of the Dunning-Kruger club… if you’re incompetent, you can’t know you’re incompetent…”
I recall this quote from time to time, and it is the fundamental mindset that I have while pursuing my long-term goals.
